75 Fountain Street is a 4-story, historically-designated office building in Providence, Rhode Island. The building was designed and constructed in 1934 to house the headquarters and printing facilities of the Providence Journal newspaper. The project was renovated in 2015 to accommodate multiple tenants. The Project sits across the street from the Nightingale Apartments and is in close proximity to the downtown restaurants, stores, and coffee shops, the Providence Place Mall, and the Rhode Island Convention Center. Rhode Island, sometimes referred to as the “Ocean State,” is the smallest state in the United States and claims over 400 miles of coastline. While the population of Rhode Island is only 1,067,528, the population of metropolitan Providence, its capital, is 1,604,291 because its suburbs stretch across state borders into Connecticut and Massachusetts.
